WELCOME TO HAYES SCHOOL
We are delighted to welcome prospective Sixth Form students, parents and families into our Sixth Form Open Evening, on Thursday 16th November, 2023, from 6pm until 8pm.
We very much believe that the video resources will supplement the advice and information that you will receive at our Open Evening and give you a real insight into Sixth Form life at Hayes School, the achievements of our students, the range of courses on offer and our support and additional provision. We believe that our school and Sixth Form is a special place in which to work and study, making Hayes Sixth Form the natural choice for Post-16 study.
We have recently opened a bespoke, purpose built Sixth Form Centre designed to enhance the experience for our students and to prepare them for the world of work or university.

*The Principal's speech is a ticketed event and tickets are issued at the entrance to the main school concourse, on a first come, first served basis. There is no need to book
*There are 3 Principal's speeches: 6.15pm, 6.50pm, and 7.30pm.
*Subject areas will close at 8pm - Last entrance to school site is 7.30pm.
*Parking restrictions in the local area will be in place, there is no parking available on the school site.

WHY HAYES SIXTH FORM?

ESTABLISHED ACADEMIC SUCCESS
High attainment and average and above average progress in a wide range of courses with over 70% of students progressing to university in 2023. Our students successfully obtain entry to Russell Group universities, including Oxford and Cambridge each year.
We pride ourselves on obtaining the best possible outcomes for our students to open the doors to their future success, in Summer 2023 our students achieved well - 20% A* - A Grades, 53% A* - B Grades, 81% A* - C Grades. With the average A-Level grade a B. The average grade for vocational qualifications was a Distinction (equivalent to an A Grade).

HIGH QUALITY TEACHING AND LEARNING
Our experienced and skilled classroom teachers and subject specialists have a real passion for their subject and this is shared by our students. Hayes School is a National Teaching School involved in teacher development and research into effective teaching and learning strategies.

Our application process is through an online system (Admissions +) which will keep you updated on the status of your application via e-mail updates throughout the application process.
